Emirates' 'Neo' bags

A collection of limited-edition tote and travel bags made from recycled sails from Emirates Team New Zealand
In support of Emirates Team New Zealand, as it prepares to defend its America's Cup championship title, the Emirates Official Store has launched 'Neo', a collection of limited-edition tote bags that breathe new life into sails used in previous world series, regattas and America's Cup competitions dating back to 2011.

The Neo collection will include up to 80 barrel and tote bags made from discarded North Sails 3Di sails, famous for their lightweight construction and resistant to stretching and tearing. The stylish bags will be made from 95% recycled sails and will have a retro aesthetic, featuring the colours, stripes and angular shapes that have defined Emirates Team New Zealand's celebrated sail designs over the years.

The entire collection will be produced by the UAE-based manufacturer, Jasani, and reflects the airline's commitment to reducing waste through its own operations, as well as exploring opportunities with partners such as Emirates Team New Zealand to reuse and give new life to materials destined for landfills, transforming them into valuable products.

Emirates' first collection of recycled items was launched in 2023 with the limited edition 'Aircrafted by Emirates' range consisting of products made from recycled materials from refurbished aircraft and made to order at a dedicated workshop in the airline's engineering facility in Dubai.

In the coming months, Emirates will announce new collections of recycled items in the Neo line. The new tote and travel bags are available for pre-order on the official Emirates Official Store.

Emirates has been supporting Emirates Team New Zealand for over 20 years, sharing the brand's common values of success and excellence in both aviation and sailing. The 2024 37th Louis Vuitton America's Cup will see all participating teams, including Emirates Team New Zealand, compete in their AC75 class yachts. The Louis Vuitton America's Cup Match will begin on October 12, 2024 in Barcelona, Spain.
