Egyptair flies from Venice to Cairo
Egyptair has inaugurated the new direct flight between Venice and Cairo. The route, operated from Venice's Marco Polo Airport, offers passengers a new travel opportunity both to reach the Egyptian capital and to continue to the company's international network.
The connection operates two weekly frequencies, on Mondays and Fridays, on board new generation Airbus A320neo aircraft, configured with Business Class and Economy Class.
The company has already scheduled the continuation of the service for the 2026/2027 winter season. From 24 October 2026, flights between Venice and Cairo will increase to three weekly frequencies, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
For those departing from Veneto and the North-East, the new route is interesting not only to visit Cairo, but also to reach some of the most popular destinations in Egypt, including Luxor, Aswan, Sharm El Sheikh and Nile cruises. The opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum has also helped to strengthen the interest of Italian Travellers in the Egyptian capital.
Cairo is also Egyptair's main hub and allows you to continue to numerous destinations in Africa, the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. The Star Alliance member airline also offers passengers global connections, lounge access, priority services and frequent flyer benefits on the alliance's network.
