Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong's flag carrier recently recognized as one of the top five in the world, strengthens its presence in Europe with the new 2025 summer schedule. From 30 March, the company will restore the daily direct flight between Milan Malpensa and Hong Kong.
The company will also introduce two new European routes. From 16 June 2025, connections to and from Munich will start with four weekly flights, making Munich the second German city served by Cathay after Frankfurt, which already boasts daily flights. Afterwards, from August 3, 2025, the company will return to fly to Brussels, the Belgian capital.
Both new routes will be operated with modern Airbus A350-900 aircraft, designed to offer a premium travel experience. The configuration includes lie-flat seats in Business Class, generous space in Premium Economy and maximum comfort for passengers in Economy Class.
Wider connections and steady growth in Europe
The 2025 summer season will see Cathay Pacific operate up to 93 weekly passenger flights between Europe and Hong Kong, up from 78 currently. This significant growth is part of the Cathay Group's strategic plan to reach 100 global destinations by 2025.
