Cathay Pacific boosts flights from Rome to Hong Kong
Cathay Pacific is strengthening flights between Rome Fiumicino and Hong Kong for summer 2026 with three additional flights scheduled for 14, 21 and 28 August. The new frequencies complement the seasonal service already operating from 30 March to 24 October, with four connections a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The extra flights will depart from Rome Fiumicino at 13:00 and arrive in Hong Kong at 06:00 the following day. The return flight from Hong Kong will take off at 01:05 and arrive in Rome at 08:05, according to local times.
The route will be operated with Airbus A350-900, configured with Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy. On board, passengers will find entertainment, Wi-Fi and food service.
The upgrade responds to the demand for travel to Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region. From the airline's hub, passengers departing from Italy can continue to numerous destinations in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
With additional flights from Rome and the already active daily service from Milan Malpensa, Cathay Pacific strengthens its presence in Italy and expands travel options for those flying to Hong Kong and beyond.
