American Airlines reactivates Venice-Dallas route
American Airlines has resumed direct seasonal flights between Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), the airline's main hub in the United States. The service returned to operation on Friday 22 May and is available throughout the summer season on a daily basis.
The route is operated with Boeing 787-8 aircraft and joins the already active connection between Venice and Philadelphia (PHL), strengthening American Airlines' offer between Northeast Italy and North America. For passengers departing from Veneto and neighboring areas, the flight to Dallas represents a direct gateway to the United States and a wide network of continuations.
Dallas Fort Worth is American Airlines' largest hub , serving more than 225 destinations across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Latin America. Thanks to this connection, those departing from Venice can continue with connections to numerous North American and Latin American cities, with a smoother itinerary through the company's network.
The resumption of flights confirms Venice's strategic role in American Airlines' international network and responds to the demand for travel between northeastern Italy and the North American market, which is particularly relevant during the summer season. The connection also helps to consolidate the company's presence at the Venetian airport, already served by the flight to Philadelphia.
The flight from Dallas Fort Worth to Venice departs at 17:40 and arrives at Venice Airport at 10:55 the following day. In the opposite direction, American Airlines' flight from Venice to Dallas Fort Worth takes off at 12:15 p.m. and lands in Texas at 4:50 p.m.
