Air France expands summer network

More long-haul capacity, new route to Las Vegas, more flights to New York, more than 90 short and medium-haul destinations and up to four flights a day to Naples

For summer 2026, Air France is strengthening its network with more capacity on long-haul flights, new routes and a further expansion of the offer in Europe and the Mediterranean. For passengers, it means more choice, more flexibility and a growing number of connections, particularly to the Americas and the most popular Asian destinations.

On long-haul, the company expects a 2% growth in available seat-kilometres compared to summer 2025. The expansion mainly concerns North and South America. Among the most relevant innovations is the new direct connection between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Las Vegas, operational from 15 April 2026 with three weekly flights operated with Airbus A350-900. With this opening, Las Vegas becomes Air France's 19th destination in the United States and the 26th in North America.

The offer on New York is also strengthened. From June 2026, Air France will add a second daily service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Newark. Overall, by summer 2026, the airline will offer up to 11 flights per day between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York's JFK and Newark airports, in partnership with Delta Air Lines.

On the other hand, operations towards some destinations in the Middle East remain conditioned by the geopolitical situation. Air France has suspended flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh until March 31, 2026 inclusive, and until April 1, 2026 for flights departing from Dubai. Connections to and from Tel Aviv and Beirut are suspended until April 4, 2026 inclusive. At the same time, since the beginning of the crisis, the company has increased capacity to Asia on the most popular routes.

During the summer season, upgrades to Bangkok, Singapore, Bengaluru, Tokyo and Osaka will continue, with additional flights scheduled, while on some routes to Delhi and Mumbai larger capacity aircraft will be used. In the previous months, extra flights to Bangkok, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Manila and Nairobi had already been added, as well as the use of larger aircraft on some frequencies to Bangkok, Phuket, Singapore, Delhi and Tokyo.

The renewal of the on-board product also continues. Air France will continue to introduce the new La Première suite, already available on routes between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and New York-JFK, Los Angeles, Miami, Singapore and Tokyo-Haneda, and also scheduled for summer on flights to Abidjan and San Francisco.

On the services front, the installation of free high-speed Wi-Fi on the entire fleet, including regional aircraft, is also advancing. By the end of March 2026, the service will be available on 40% of aircraft, with the aim of extending it to practically the entire fleet by the end of the year.

The short and medium-haul network will also be particularly wide. Air France will operate up to 630 flights per day to more than 90 destinations. For passengers departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, there are more connections to several European and Mediterranean cities, with a strengthened offer during periods of increased demand.

The increases announced include up to four daily flights to Dublin, the new route to London (Gatwick) with two flights per day, up to four daily flights to Marrakech and Rabat, up to four to Naples and two per day to Seville and Porto.

Summer 2026 will also mark a reorganization of the French domestic network. As part of the plan announced in autumn 2023, Air France will centralize all its Parisian operations on Paris-Charles de Gaulle, with the exception of flights to Corsica linked to the public service obligation. In this context, connections to Toulouse, Nice and Marseille will be strengthened, which will reach up to 12, 12 and 10 flights per day respectively.

All flights to French overseas territories, including Pointe-à-Pitre, Fort-de-France, Saint-Denis de la Réunion and Cayenne, will also depart from Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

At the same time, Transavia will take on an increasingly central role in Paris-Orly. From March 29, 2026, the company will inaugurate connections between Paris-Orly and Toulouse, Nice and Marseille, with 8, 8 and 2 daily flights respectively. In total, Transavia France will operate 230 routes to 109 destinations in 33 countries during the summer.

For travellers, the summer 2026 flights of Air France and the Air France-KLM group therefore offer a more extensive offer, with new opportunities for long-haul and more frequencies to high-demand destinations.
