Air Dolomiti renews its uniforms
Air Dolomiti presents the new uniforms for flight attendants, which will be introduced on board from August. The renewal comes in the airline's 35th anniversary year and covers one of the most recognizable elements of the travel experience: the cabin crew uniform.
Since its inception in 1991, Air Dolomiti has considered the uniform not only as professional clothing, but as part of its identity. Over time, the Lufthansa Group airline has collaborated with important names in Italian fashion, including Fendi, Rocco Barocco, Martinelli, Cinzia Rocca and Laura Strambi for Metiki, bringing an elegant and recognizable style on board.
The new collection is the result of a collaboration with Antonio Pitagora, a designer with experience in the international fashion system alongside fashion houses such as Fendi, Valentino and Dolce & Gabbana. Today Pitagora is head designer of haute couture and the occasion wear line of Pronovias. For Air Dolomiti he has curated a line designed to accompany the operational needs of flight with a contemporary and refined image.
The dominant color is blue, also chosen to reinforce the visual alignment with the Lufthansa Group, embellished with turquoise details that recall the company's identity. The garments are made with quality materials, including virgin wool, merino wool and cotton, selected to ensure comfort, resistance and freedom of movement during service on board.
Among the main innovations is the introduction of the women's dress, designed to offer a more current and elegant fit. The collection also includes matching men's suits and dedicated accessories, such as personalized scarves, belts and matching bags.
Each garment has been developed with a sartorial approach, combining size detection, attention to detail and advanced production technologies. The goal is to offer staff a comfortable and functional uniform, capable of conveying quality and attention to hospitality at the same time.
Production is entrusted to Forint, an Italian company specializing in professional clothing and corporate uniforms, chosen for its experience in the sector and for its ability to combine manufacturing, innovation and tradition.
For passengers, the new uniforms represent a further sign of the evolution of Air Dolomiti: a company that strengthens its role within the Lufthansa Group, expands its presence in European destinations and continues to focus on an Italian style of hospitality, refined and recognizable.
