United Airlines and United Express operate approximately thousand flights a day to airports across five continents. In 2017, United and United Express operated more than 1.6 million flights carrying more than 148 million customers. 
 
United offers a global route network, to Asia and Australia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East with non-stop or one-stop service from the United States. 

United operates with over 700 mainline aircraft and the airline's United Express carriers operate with over 500 regional aircraft.  
 
Its Hub cities are in Chicago O’Hare, Denver, Houston Intercontinental, Los Angeles, Newark Liberty, San Francisco and Washington Dulles.
 
Total operating mainline fleet of United is with Airbus A319, A320, Boeing 737 (700/800/900/900ER), Boeing 757 (200/300), Boeing 767 (300ER/400ER), Boeing 777 (200/200ER/300ER), Boeing 787-8/9.
 
And a regional fleet with Bombardier Q200, Bombardier Q300, Embraer 135, Embraer 145, Embraer 170, Embraer E175, Canadair CRJ 700, Canadair CRJ 200.
 
The airline is a founding member of Star Alliance, which provides service to different countries via its member airlines.
